I know that Rodinol has been discontinued. But some people still seem to be getting their hands on it. Can anyone point me to a source that will ship Rodinol to Canada? Thanks.

It's not discontinued. A&O, the German company that bought some of Agfa's assets, including the production of Rodinal, is now making and shipping it. Not sure who in Canada is stocking it or can order, but I'm sure the usual suspects will speak up. I used to buy it at Stan C. Reade in London. There is still at least one guy there (Barry) from "the old days" who might be able to help.

I've occasionally seen it at Henry's, the big chain store here in Toronto.

The company that got the last stock of Agfa Rodinal is also Canadian, so we're actually in the best position to get some. Like Joe mentioned, McBain's has it also.

Thanks guys. I'll try to get some the next time I'm in Toronto. Up here in Ottawa, we're a bit hard done by when it comes to photo shops.

You can also try Freestyle in Los Angeles. They even have some Brovira paper in stock and they probably ship to Canada.

Downtown Canera has lots of Rodinal. $16.99 for the 500ml bottle. And I think they're still giving 10% off on all darkroom supplies.

Frankly, I'm a little embarassed at the suggestion
that we discuss the intimate practices of Canadians
here.

:)

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
