In other words... I'm Baaaaaaa-aaaack!
Hi, again everybody. It's been waaay too long🙂.
I haven't been around in a long time, but I've been lurking quite a bit recently. After I sold off all my rangefinders, I went hardcore into Nikon MF cameras. But then I moved a year ago and lost my darkroom space.
But I'm happy to announce I'm moving this weekend to a nice big house with a nice, big finished basement with a side room with a sink and no windows 🙂. Can you say Dektol poisoning, anyone, hehe.
So in the next few weeks I'll place some for sale ads to ditch my F3HP and FM, along with assorted goodies, and just keep my D90 for work and taking pictures of rangefinders and darkrooms 🙂.
I just need to figure out what I want. I had a Kiev 4am, and with my (newly-acquired) love of another Russian surplus piece of machinery, the glorious Mosin-Nagant rifle, I might like another Kiev (an older one, though) or a Fed 2. Perhaps I'll upgrade to a Canon or a Nikon if I feel the need later (depending on the FSU I get).
Aslo, I'm thinking of ditching this whole journalism career thing for a year and joining the AmeriCorps VISTA program or the Peace Corps while I'm still a young, idealistic youth. Figure a cheap RF could be fun to drag along with me.
