I've already got too much gear, but I think the GF670 is the best camera from just about anyone in a couple of years, and maybe the wide one is too.
If I did not have so much kit, and maybe had a touch more money, then I'd certainly think about it.

No - not with the GSW690's being so cheap by comparison.

Actually I am hoping that Fuji will re-do their 645 rangefinder folder line.
A manual focus GA645wi would be awesome.
Regarding the article, I agree with one of the comments, all those two photos shown in the article just shows off one thing: lack of effort.

[T]he GF670 is typically around £2100 (sometimes including VAT), and the wide is expected to be around the same when it arrives in the UK.
I don't think I will.

I would love to buy one of these cameras. They look super. Trying to figure out way to buy the folder. Love the rangefinder quality, great lens, 6x7 or 6x6, quiet, light meter, etc...medium format and put it in my 35mm bag...fantastic.

GF670 is a solid performing camera in my opinion and compares well with my Hasselblad 80mm in terms of perceived resolution. The things I don't like about the GF670 are the bellows, no ability to use grads, and the awkward focusing control. The GF670W has none of these issues so I may buy one if the right deal comes up.

Having just purchased a Fujica GSW690 a couple of months ago for $500, I'm not that interested in a similar camera costing $3000, although I'm sure this is lighter and with the internal meter, more convenient to use.

I'm thrilled that Fuji is releasing another medium format camera, and it looks great. But that's pretty pricey.

The GBP price is, to put it bluntly, insane. But the camera... wow
Considering the US price of the folding version, if the wide version came in at around 2 grand, what else in MF is there at that price available new of comparable quality? The GSW670/680/690 - used, for a fraction of the price even in excellent condition - are close except for no internal meter (something I will never understand considering they put meters in the 645's...) and manual-only operation.
In any case it is excellent (amazing?) to see Fuji releasing this camera (or really anyone releasing any film camera in the 2010's). I think it is more practical in some ways than the original folder: no bellows = more solidity in the long term, and you can leave filters on it.
Way to go Fuji! If I was in a financial position to buy one of these (I recently bought a GW690III and a GA645) at a reasonable price (i.e. not the wrong side of $3300) I would probably jump at it as I think it would make a great travel/hiking camera.
