I decided to buy something that I don't have anything like it. I have plenty of 35mm cameras and lenses, but I had no Panorama camera. I bought tonight a Horizon 202. I will have plenty of fun (hopefully) taking true panorama images of the beach and the old downtown. I know, it is not a rangefinder camera, but it will complete my photography adventures by learning about a new type of camera. I sold a collapsible Summicron 50/2 in super clean condition, and got for part of the money this camera. I'm still hoping to get from Brian a super clean J3. 🙂

Sold a rifle to pay for my most recent lens; does that count? 🙂

Of course it counts. :bang:
I am exited about trying out something totally new for me.
If I could afford it, I would have bought a Linhof or Fuji system camera for panorama photos.

I need to sell my Crown Graphic/lens and converted 110A to fund a lens for my new Shen-Hao 4x5. Every night I mean to set up and take some photographs, but then I get sidetracked. I think it's my unconscious desire to keep them.

I sell unused gear to finance the purchase of RF gear. I'm selling a Nikkor 105 f2.5 SLR lens to FrankG and my black Nikon F to someone else in Vancouver, to pay for Butch's Canon 35mm f2.8 lens, and to have extra cash for filters, hoods, enlarger head, film, paper, chemicals.

I need to sell a few Nikon SLR bodies and maybe my 4x5 Linhof and a Koni Omega MF camera and .... I give up.

The panorama camera should be a gas. I myself covet a Widelux. I want to shoot infrared in it.

Do you already have the Widelux or is it a camera you wish you had? I may try out Fujichrome Velvia with the Horizon. I haven't been too impressed with the B&W panorama photos I have seen posted online. It seems that color (maybe infrared) is more expressive with such a format. Street photography may be fun with B&W and such a camera though.
