This certainly has 'the Rodinal look': very sharp with metallic highlights. I think Rodinal's a great developer for m/f.

I think they call it a rolleinar III, there's also a I and II version, the III focuses closer ( I could be wrong though)

I use the second Rolleinar (II), and can't go nearly as close. That's quite impressive.

Thank you, antistatic!
My older daughter just made her First Communion and we went for a photo shoot a few days before the big day. The dress was lovingly handcrafted by my mother-in-law. The photo really does the dress no justice! It truly is beautiful.

This is another one from that set that I love...
I was waiting for her to smack me over the head and say, "the power of Christ compels you!!"

The Roleinar III gets you wicked close but the DOF is pretty dang shallow at that distance...

So at the local officer's mess last night, this Brit found a dead hawk moth completely intact. I swore I would keep it intact for his kids and put it in a cooler to take home...now it's residing in my fridge to keep the safari ants from finding it. Got some neat snaps of it today with the Mamiya; I just got excited and forgot to use the paramender for the first few.

Watching a parade (I'm seriously upset with myself for not getting contact info for her parents. They saw me taking the picture and talked about the film camera, but I didn't think about getting contact info until it was too late)
Alley at Pioneer Square. The guy on the staircase on the left maps the shot for me.
Friends daughter at International Pillow Fight Day.
