Thinking Bessa-1 folder loaded with Extar 100 for landscapes and Canon 7D+ 60mm Tamron Macro for getting up close will make a nice combo for shooting fall colors.
So far just seeing small hints of this years colors.

I really like this one. Somehow the image of one or two special leaves--despite their being a bit "past their prime" is more evocative than the usual picture-perfect shot of the whole tree. Seems like a metaphor for aging.

I am in Denver at 5,000+ ft elevation and we have the fall colors at peak now (mid Oct). The leaves are almost gone and its time for me to clean up the mess in the front and back yard.

I already went out and shot lots of Medium Format with Kodak 100VS, Provia and Ektar. I did develop some of the chromes at home already. Its a shame to scan a MF chrome but I hope to post some soon.

Well there's a strange character in every crowd and here I am. 😱

I live in New England (USA) but I burned out on Fall Color photos lots of years ago.

But my new approach is . . . I collect fallen leaves and scan them on a flatbed. I find the leaves themselves, individually, are more interesting than "God help us, another foliage picture ?" (as someone once commented to me).

Great shots from everybody. Peak colors here so I shot a roll of Kodak UC100 in the Bessa L CV25/4 & some B&W in a Zorki C & 50 elmar past weekend. When I get developed I'll post a few.

I did some Velvia and dropped it off just before Sandy hit. I am dreading the call I have to make to see if my film was lost or destroyed. A small price to pay as everyone and everything else is intact.
