Your thoughts on Nikkor 50/1.8 AI-S Japanese pancake version

I've said it before, but this lens' size makes it a compact and rugged kit for backpacking. Paired with the Nikon FM2n (1/4000th top shutter speed) and some ISO 400 film, you have a very wide shooting envelope. Everything from bright sun to long exposure star trails. :)

Nikon FM2n, AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S, Ultrafine eXtreme 400, developed in LegacyPro L110 at 1:31 for 5.5 minutes.

Beautiful images, sir! They really are an inspiration :)

Would you mind posting a photo of the setup that you're using?

Thank you for the kind words, Sierra Club, much appreciated!

As for the setup you're asking about, do you mean for the trichromy shots? If so, there's nothing really special about the setup, other than screwing in red, green, and then blue circular filters for each frame. Shot on a tripod with a cable release. Other than that, the setup looks pretty much like your avatar, except mine is a plain FM2n, and not the nicer titanium FM2/T version. :) I hope that helps!
