M240, 28 Biogon... This Zeiss 25mm is fitted with UV/IR Cut filter changing reddish corners to pale cyan, fixed with CornerFix. Lens coded as Leica 24mm. Slight purple fringing fixed in LR, EXIFChanger inserted lens info. Central Washington.

I've been looking at some 21mm lenses. I have the Voigtlander Color-Skopar f.4 and decided to get the faster TTArtisan 21mm. One issue that made me go for the TTArtisan is that the Voigtlander lenses can't be shipped from the USA to Canada. Cheers, OtL

This thread reminds me that I ought to get mine fixed. It's such a good lens for walkaround and general daily life documentation, but I stopped using it because it developed the usual Zeiss scuffy wobbles.

The lens people rave about, I thought is was fine. Only when shooting wide open at f2.8 to f4 did I appreciate how good it was, right to the edges on Rollei ATP 1.1 film at ASA 32/40.

People's posted images are showing the micro detail which this lens excels at. A legend of a lens.

I finally got a wobble (don’t know if it was ‘the’ wobble) and stiff focus fixed and it’s been on my M9 for a week or more. It’s not small by Leica standards, but a fantastic lens. I had shot with the sun in it yesterday afternoon, hardly flared even with the direct hit. I have the round hood on it. So that wasn’t on the 21 I was out with on another camera today. Neither of these Zeiss lenses seem to need a hood.
