California (Bay Area, Northern) Beer and Gear.

When can we get you Bay Area guys up here? Mid-town Sac is pretty cool, and the beer is good.

Alas, weekday nights are not good for me for visits to the Bay Area, but I want a full account of the smackdown, er, meeting... ;-))

We do have to get a Sacro weekend shooting day planned. I'd enjoy hitting the older areas a bit a I've never explored there.

I'll get some cheesy snaps for you at the get together.

I'm well east of Sac., so this beer & gear is out for me. I'd still like to ski Tahoe for old time's sake, so I'll figure out a way to do both. Maybe next year; El Niño and my finances have trashed that idea for this season.

Looking forward to your visit next year, Guy. Really sorry to have missed your last visit to the SF Bay Area and still want to reciprocate for your having given me a tour of Toronto and buying me dinner a couple of years ago. So, do let us know when you are going to be in town and we'll make sure to great and treat you right!

Well, sorry to say, I can't make it Tuesday night. My grandmother, who is almost 98, has suddenly taken a turn for the worse so I'm traveling to be with her. Hope you guys have a good time and take lots of pics to share.

Thanks Roland and Randy. Reading the Bay Area meeting threads on RFF is the same as reading the Toronto threads, and I always want to show up. The location of the venue presents some complications for me, but I'll figure out a way to get there eventually.

Anyone bringing anything "special" gear-wise Tuesday night? While not really special, I'll bring the Panasonic G1 with the 20/1.7 and the adapters (M and F).

Anyone selling anything or looking to buy anything?
