California (Bay Area, Northern) Beer and Gear.

Ummm, I thought we were all set to meet on Tues 10/27 at the American Bull on the upper peninsula. I'm definitely still up for that.

Let's just do American Bull then. The whole karaoke thing is getting blown way out of proportion. I've never seen karaoke at Am. Bull and we've met there a half-dozen times at least (I've been there probably two dozen times). If we meet at 7 we'll just wrap out by 9:30 like we did last time.

Excellent

Tues, Oct 27th, 7 PM.

American Bull (1819 El Camino Real, Burlingame, CA 94010 (650) 652-4908)

Link to American Bull website for directions, etc.: http://www.theamericanbull.com/

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

P.S. In case anyone is worried, Karaoke doesn't start until 9:30 so it shouldn't affect us (unless you WANT to stay and take pictures of bad, drunk singers...).

Have Halloween, and a bday coming up here next week. Wish I could though.

For the BART folks, take the Millbrae train, then it's about a .2 mi walk - I'd personally take a cab. The area is fairly safe in the daytime, but very dark at night. I'd get to El Camino as soon as possible if walking. Definitely a safer walk than say BART to Zeitgeist.

Also, watch out for Biker gangs :D

Hey Ted, you gonna be in town and able to join us?

If you're taking BART or the train, you should be able to exit the station toward the west side of the tracks. That puts you a block off El Camino. Walk up to El Camino and cross over to the other side (west side) of the street and walk south 1.5 blocks. Am. Bull is in a strip mall next to a Lunardi's. A cab is really a waste of good beer/film money. And, safety, beyond any normal traffic risk for a busy street, shouldn't be a concern. Millbrae and Burlingame are among the safest cities on the peninsula.

If you exit on the east side of the station, I think you have to walk to Millbrae Ave and across the overpass.

I'll see everyone there. John, I'll be coming through Inner Richmond if you need a lift to Amer. Bull.

Ted, Ray and I were just messing with you when we yelled "GIVE US YOUR WALLET" in the dark alley last time. We didn't expect you to throw your wallet at us and run screaming.

We won't do it to anyone this time.

Lol!

Whoops. I must have kung-fu'd, and karate chopped up the wrong couple of guys then!!
