Camera and Coffee

Wow. That Zeiss 135mm f/4 Sonnar is a beauty! It is identical in looks to a J-11 in LTM I just got from Russia. Wonder how they managed that? 😉

What do you get when you cross a Leica and a Minolta?

A Minolta that uses a Leica Mount...

The advance of the Hi-Matic E is buttery smooth too; but the Viewfinder Optics are much brighter and better defined on the CL.

Hello. As a new guy, I suppose I should chime in. Had to take this with my crappy digital, but I did make a pot of joe just for the occasion!

After my morning espresso I felt like sharing a "family portrait". There are couple of black sheep with, but don´t worry, the blackest were left of or used to take this picture.
Have a nice day, it´s 11 am, sun is shining, about +1 c and 15 cm of white snow.
Cheers, Esa

For JD

Lil, don't give up on the 35RC. It's a small beauty and I'm sure you'll be very happy with a good working one. Too bad you ended finding that seller 😡

Also, Lil and the others, I have rangefinder envy 😀

But now what was promised, JD, does this one qualify ? Notice the craftsmanship coffee grinder, too bad I didn't have that Portuguese 'Café Camello' to grind 😉

Photo taken with Brian's F2 with 35/2 lens.

We have a serious problem here ! Sun, blue sky and air pressure of 1040 mb !

Btw no wrist strap (yet). Mitch (the seller) included a nice and soft strap and I'm using it around my wrist for a while...

And now, time for the post-war Opton Sonnar 50/1.5 on the post-war copy of the pre-war Contax II 😉

Don't worry Gene, not being able to give them all the use they deserve is a pain as well 🙁

Yet keeping them is the statement of my weak collector soul 🙁 🙁

Stepped inside from the pouring rain and the girl behind the bar asked what I would I like. I asked for a towel and a change of clothes, but had to settle for a large cappuccino and a biscuit.

Settled down to read todays issue of Amateur Photographer and their review of the RD-1. Had my SP with me so asked her to pose for me while I passed the time and dried myself out!
