Camera and Coffee

I get very excited about finding the correct ever-ready camera case for a camera. I spent years looking for a Nikon CH-11 to fit the F2s with the DS-1 EE Servo-Motor Attached. Lens Hoods and Caps are big deals to find with the Nikon RF lenses.

Sometimes I get the Hood without having the lens for it. The hard part is finding the hood. Easy part is the lens. Now I just need the Noct-Nikkor to go with it.

Alright, now I feel much better! I didn't think that anyone else bought hoods before lenses 😀 I kick myself on a regular basis for not reacting fast enough to a hood on eBay with a "Buy it Now" that I'd never seen before or since. I paused momentarily, then thought I'd better do it and it was gone to a friendly competitor for the same stuff. Oh well, always something to look for...

BTW Brian, at your suggestion I am trying out a new sig line -- thanks!

P. S. Nice Nikon and picture, ironically you posted as I was writing this.

Does my Rolleiflex SL35 with the 50mm F1.8 Planar count???

I'm looking for the Camera and Coffee of the R35se... Hint, Hint...

Brian,

A great catch. That M looks great, and if you don't like it just call! What a deal. Did you get my mail on my Nikon I?

Dusty

Hello Brian

Nice Nikon, nice find too. Also tasteful shot of the camera and book.... wait a minute. Is that a Larsen cup I'm seeing there?? Hmmmm now I'm more interested in the cup. Maybe a close up? I love his work.

best regards, Jan

Purposefully placed next to the largest cup in the house 🙂

Like any teenager I had to rebel -- had to have one of these just because my Dad didn't like them! Still can't bring myself to even think of parting with it, which is probably a good indication of arrested development. It does make for good bag ballast!

Nice Rollei, The SL35 DOES NOT count.

My wife bought me the "Rocket Scientist" Cup. It, and the Scientists running after the Ice Cream Truck are my favorites. Funny thing is HER Satellite is in the Smithsonian, The Gamma Ray Observatory. I thought it appropriate for the Nikon I and Nikon M design team.

Joe, That is amazing! You can't have it.

Sunday morning coffee with the Mamiya Super 23

Sunday morning coffee with the Mamiya Super 23

Here's my Mamiya Super 23 RF as set up for close up shots with extended back and extension tubes. Beautiful camera and great results.

Chris that is one big viewfinder on that Mamiya! The view through it mast be fantastic.

My Canon 7 and L1 welcome the "Black Sheep" of the family, the F1. And my other Larsen cup, a favorite Cartoon at work.

Brian, I think they (Nikons) still can "tell" what it is even in that case 🙂))))

chrisjejbrown: nice mamiya set, nothing like a sharp MF neg!

Brian: that's a coveted mix -- it's been a while since I've seen an F1, especially around here! The mugs just bust me up; I miss Larson 🙁

Very clean professional work, greyhoundman. Good luck with the test shots!

I hope everyone has had a good (photograpic or otherwise) weekend. I've spent/wasted the day reading...could hardly feel better or less guilty, too!
