I hang my head in shame. I flip on the spelling of reek based on what cycle the moon is in.
Reek- like leek "reeks like leeks"
Not Wreak like leak as in "Martha was able to save millions due to a leak from a pal, only to realize later that it has wreaked havoc on her reputation with the SEC."
Better?
Its all good.

Bob,
Sorry for my misunderstanding -- I thought it was the name of the case
I had the exact same case; it came with a Contax camera I bought on eBay. I liked the case a lot and kept it for a while, but later I realized that I'd never use it and during an impulsive cleaning spree last week I threw it out :bang:
I've got to be more careful about tossing things -- I should have checked here first to see if anyone else could have used it.

I hope I didn't toss the camera with the case -- I'd better go check!
It's funny that I thought "Reeking" was perhaps some old English leather shop

I just have to tease you one last time...
That would be the famous Photo Shop near london "Reeking at Thames"
This bag will be ok soon, I am very intent on saving it.

I look forward to sharing in the fun at RFF. It seems to be a nice community you have here, populated by thoughtful, caring folks. Good on ya!
And yep, welcome !
The green looks nice! Must have been tricky getting the covering to fit the curves of the folding front. And what a grungy coffee cup! What IS that stuff in there? Including the graphics, it looks more appropriate for crankcase scrapings than anything ingestible!

Well done, Dave! Wouldn't recognize it, if it weren't for the inscription on the front

Beautiful work on the Seagull, the green looks very dignified. That coffee cup, on the other hand

!!! I'll take the trivia test: Felpro Gaskets? And the coffee doubles as gasket sealer?
Just razzin ya a little -- that's truly a cup to be proud of. I covet anything of the sort that can make my wife squeamish.

I'm happy to see it went to a good home since I couldn't take it!greyhoundman said:This is the Seagull 203 I received from Denis.
I was going to do her in red, but I thought the deep jade leather was more ocean like.
Now to do a matching lens hood.![]()
:bang: I guess I have to learn to live with the morals my folks :bang: ed into me.
Photos soon, Greyhoundman?
I know I'll find another one. To be honest, I was surprised at how quickly I got a response to my WTB post. After haning out here for these few months i certainltyshouldn't have been.

Stitches removal? Yikes! Nothing too severe I hope. I had my little mishap at work a while back and after waiting the appropriate amount of time I took all four of my stitches out my self(DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME, KIDS!)--the visit to have the doc remove 'em was 90% of the cost to put them in.
Stitches out=on the mend I trust. Looking forward to the pix.

Very nice one Gman !!
In a bit of a frenzy, I put myself hands on job this afternoon with the Frankenette, that is, a 'good' Afga Isolette III built from the best parts of the two I have. It's the one on the left, and it has... brand new bellows ! I got a set some months ago from a seller in Ireland, they are 'preset' in place, no glue and only hold by the pressure plates in front and back.
Shutter is a Prontor SV, lens is a very clean Apotar 85/4.5, shutter is sticky at 1/10 and below
and the good rangefinder somehow came out of calibration and must be readjusted, but it looks nice.
I'll run a test roll of Acros 100 tomorrow to see if all is as it should, but I'm probably selling these two cameras, just as with backalley's 100/3.5 lens, these ones have come surrounded by a bit of bad luck.
The one on the right got all the bad parts
but however it's still working... partially.

Well, no coffee, but here is the picture of the Canon VT that I got a few days back -- complete with 35/1.8 and 100/3.5. I fixed the hole in the curtain and it seems to be well now.
Here is his older brother. Taken at the same time for a writeup I am working on for the 90 tele-elmarit.
I probably could have gotten some better lighting, but I wanted to develop the roll that night, and it was already 7pm, so that was a 1/2 sec. exposure...

I like that second group, Stuart. Looks like the kit Darth Vader would have!
Here's a pic of my new meter. The M3 is still waiting for a new cover, probably held up at Customs. Sea snake is not an endagered species, is it? I don't want to go to jail.

Gee thanks, Joe. The new version of the meter is less tall than the first one. I really like how it works.

Hey Frank, the VC II is a sweet little meter, isn't it? I really love mine. Small, simple, fast and consistant - it might be nice if it did incident reading, but that's never been something I've done anyway so I really don't miss the capability. For me it's just about perfect. Hope you like your's as much.
