Reek- like leek "reeks like leeks"

Sorry for my misunderstanding -- I thought it was the name of the case😱

I had the exact same case; it came with a Contax camera I bought on eBay. I liked the case a lot and kept it for a while, but later I realized that I'd never use it and during an impulsive cleaning spree last week I threw it out :bang:

I've got to be more careful about tossing things -- I should have checked here first to see if anyone else could have used it.

It's funny that I thought "Reeking" was perhaps some old English leather shop😀 -- it never occurred to me that your case had an odor (it is a really nice looking case). And it bothers me that I threw out a bag you could have used; I also tossed a Rollei 35 wrist strap and earlier today someone on the list was looking for one of those. What was I thinking???

The green looks nice! Must have been tricky getting the covering to fit the curves of the folding front. And what a grungy coffee cup! What IS that stuff in there? Including the graphics, it looks more appropriate for crankcase scrapings than anything ingestible! 🙂

Beautiful work on the Seagull, the green looks very dignified. That coffee cup, on the other hand😀😀😀!!! I'll take the trivia test: Felpro Gaskets? And the coffee doubles as gasket sealer?😉

Just razzin ya a little -- that's truly a cup to be proud of. I covet anything of the sort that can make my wife squeamish.

This is the Seagull 203 I received from Denis.
I was going to do her in red, but I thought the deep jade leather was more ocean like.
Now to do a matching lens hood. 🙂

I'm happy to see it went to a good home since I couldn't take it!

Stitches removal? Yikes! Nothing too severe I hope. I had my little mishap at work a while back and after waiting the appropriate amount of time I took all four of my stitches out my self(DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME, KIDS!)--the visit to have the doc remove 'em was 90% of the cost to put them in.
Stitches out=on the mend I trust. Looking forward to the pix.

Very nice one Gman !!

In a bit of a frenzy, I put myself hands on job this afternoon with the Frankenette, that is, a 'good' Afga Isolette III built from the best parts of the two I have. It's the one on the left, and it has... brand new bellows ! I got a set some months ago from a seller in Ireland, they are 'preset' in place, no glue and only hold by the pressure plates in front and back.

Shutter is a Prontor SV, lens is a very clean Apotar 85/4.5, shutter is sticky at 1/10 and below 🙁 and the good rangefinder somehow came out of calibration and must be readjusted, but it looks nice.

I'll run a test roll of Acros 100 tomorrow to see if all is as it should, but I'm probably selling these two cameras, just as with backalley's 100/3.5 lens, these ones have come surrounded by a bit of bad luck.

The one on the right got all the bad parts 😀 but however it's still working... partially.

Well, no coffee, but here is the picture of the Canon VT that I got a few days back -- complete with 35/1.8 and 100/3.5. I fixed the hole in the curtain and it seems to be well now.

Here is his older brother. Taken at the same time for a writeup I am working on for the 90 tele-elmarit.

I probably could have gotten some better lighting, but I wanted to develop the roll that night, and it was already 7pm, so that was a 1/2 sec. exposure...

Hey Frank, the VC II is a sweet little meter, isn't it? I really love mine. Small, simple, fast and consistant - it might be nice if it did incident reading, but that's never been something I've done anyway so I really don't miss the capability. For me it's just about perfect. Hope you like your's as much.
