On my other cameras I use neck straps, but this one is so small I think a wrist strap is in order. There's a small strap on my CL but it's on the wrong side.

Hmmm, well ok,....might I suggest a wrist strap that fits into the tripod hole in the base ?
It has two advantages; it doesn't put all the strain on one old strap lug, and it allows you to dangle the base from your wrist whilst reloading and manipulating the spool, old bolex ones from 8mm cine are nice.
On 'balance' though, I prefer the old, thin-ish, leather neckstrap kept supple and floppy with leather dressing.

I'm a little late coming to this party, but I suspect it's nowhere near winding down
for my first submission.. my M3/50 'cron, straight back from DAG.. and my venerable Contax IIa with the lovely 50/1.5 Sonnar
I started the photo shoot with just the M3 and a full cup of coffee.. but I felt a double-espresso was in order

Pretty pair there, Brett. Makes me all the more eager to get my Canon back from DAG as well.

it's similar to the A&A.. it's actually a Joseph Kuosac (sp?) strap.. they show up on eb*y once in a while and usually go for about $50... it's very comfortable and I love the look.. it doesn't adjust at all, though so it always feels a bit loose on my wrist

the Canon just went in to DAG, didn't it, william? it took exactly a month for my M3 to be returned (starting when I ok'd the estimate and paid in advance)

I gave him the go-ahead today and he said the work would only take about a week. Hopefully that will be closer than your month 😀 (insert chomping at bit sounds here)

I agree, Joe.. it was rather pricey.. but I figured I'd have it long enough to justify the cost.. hey, I deserve the best, don't I? and so do you, Joe 😀

Too...much....coffee....combined with hand tools yeilds this! Attempting to replace a bellows on a Fujica GS645. Forgot about getting glue to attach the metal plates from the old bellows to the new bellows. Oh well.....

Yours is the reason why I sent my 645 to CameraWiz. I love coffee and can not turn a screw without stripping it. Less expensive to have it service right the first time than to pay to repair my damage as well as the original repair too.

Hey Richard,
Actually, the GS645 isn't as hard as it looks. The problem here is that I have to get a good cement to attach the metal plates to the front and back of the bellows to install it.
I also finally figured out where the problem in the linkage lies. I'll probably post my experience in a more appropriate forum here when I'm through....
