Wow Bing....some serious deletions! ;-)
Yeah, I was trying to copy some photos from flickr and my usual procedure wasn't working. Finally gave up in disgust.

Inline images not gonna happen, eh?
Anyway... the question is..... were they texting each other?
I noticed forum software was upgraded while I was gone so I was hoping we were finally able to post in-line pics to club forums. I don't know why this hasn't been enabled yet. Local meeting/club centered threads could use picture posting a lot, especially when someone like me missed a meeting by a sickness! (still sick, thanks Kent) And since photos are hosted elsewhere, enabling this feature shouldn't stress the RFF server or anything. Or am I missing some technical difficulties that I'm not aware of?

Like I said, some clubs have this feature active right now. Check out the Japan Club.
I love posting to our Flickr group but at times online images make for a MUCH nicer user experience.
I'm not sure why that is, Kent. I'm just noting that the lack of this feature here and in other forums was an intentional decision. It can't hurt to ask to have it enabled.
definitely. although, I'm more bummed that our threads and posts 'expire' and disappear. It was kind of nice to have an archive of our meetings (with or without images).

Ray,
I too am bummed that the threads expire so rapidly. The clubs are not huge volume areas, I am surprised this is done at all as the savings is so minimal.
😱 OK. I'm embarrassed. 😱 You can see the past threads by changing the settings at the bottom of the screen. (OE) The default for my setting is 75 days.
Anyway, yeah, I'm really bummed that we can't post images in these threads!! 🙂

Below is a photo I took of Kent pushing an elderly lady over when she accidentaly cut in front of him in the gift shop.
Wait, for some reason I can't post it here. I'll try flickr....

Hmm... I liked the second floor show more.
Before you guys veer off into nonsense again, does anyone have an opinion on the Muybridge show? You did SEE the show, right?

I actually enjoyed the show. The motion analysis section is what he is known for and gets a little tedious after a few samples. What I did enjoy was his incredible panoramas of 1870 San Francisco and his startlingly good landscape work in Yosemite.
