The f2.8 zooms are big but will be top quality. For me, any lens slower than f2 doesn't belong on an aps-c camera. The exception is for super wides.

Looks like the Rumor Mill was accurate. Add yet another camera to my growing "short" list.

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this statement from Fuji's XT-1 page:
The EXR Processor II corrects even fractional blurring at the edges of the lens, as well as diffraction blur caused when narrowing the aperture.
I had an X Pro1 and wide M mount lenses blurred at the edges - one of the reasons (and the god awful AF) - that gave rise to me selling it. Is this functionality that Fuji references meant to address the blurring experienced with wide RF lenses?

I doubt that is correction for M lenses.

Thus only apples to FUjinon lenses with on-board data chips that store the correction parameters.

Yes.. I believe it started w/ the xe2 release, they added correction info to their own lenses.
There is also some correction info for m lenses when u use their OEM m adapter, but I would suspect it was not designed to to do anything that is as sophisticated as what they are doing for their own lenses.

On the high burst shooting video it almost looks like the camera is shaking.

I see that the eye piece can be removed and replaced with different ones. This should help those that wear glasses when shooting.

I'm making a tentative approach to my camera supplier to see what I could expect to get for my X100s and the X-Pro1 body as a trade-in. It would depend on the balance left over whether I could afford the X-T1 body. At least I can still use my three prime lenses with the X-T1 so no need to invest in new lenses. The X-Pro1 is a 2012 model and the X100s is only five or six months old an little used.

List them here in the classifieds - might get you more than at the dealers!

selling is always a better option than trading with a dealer!

Usually make better deals with individuals rather than a dealer (who has overhead costs to meet). I have my Nikon DSLR gear for sale in these classifieds for exactly that reason.

Curious to see how Fuji upgraded their AF system in the X-T1.
Very excited about this camera.

Don't worry Jeff... if the AF isn't up to par, you have a billion other cameras to use.
I'm excited about this camera now. I wasn't at first, but it is growing on me. I think it'll be a beautiful compliment to the X-Pro1. Not a fan of the XE series. RF style cameras need a VF window to look right (ok, I'm shallow).

I agree, you're not alone.
Looking forward to adding a 3rd X camera to my Fuji lineup. Hoping I placed my pre-order in time to be among the first shipments.
