Tempting tempting...

This is a website from Camtec Photo in old Montreal. They have excellent prices on the whole Voigtlander line of lenses - and they're local, lucky us Montrealers :D

They are extremely nice to deal with, highly recommended!

Edit : just called them. Should be in stock in 2 or 3 weeks.

I have to agree -- I've had only good experiences with them as well, seems a very good outfit.

Cheers,
JB

Does anyone have a link to online sample images yet?

Am anxiously awaiting delivery of my SC first week March...

Here are some photos of the box the lens comes in, the lens itself, and I'm guessing, a sample photo of a pair of gloves.
Ha, is it sad to admit I'm actually excited to see the box  I think the gloves are just to point out they used gloves when handling the lenses :(

Wow, and I was soooooo close to buying the 35mm biogon. I guess I'm going to have to wait and see some reviews of the nokton before I make a purchase. So far though, I will stick with buying the biogon. I have a 40mm nokton and I hate the tab, sad that it is also on the new 35mm. The tab gets stuck on the mount when I use a tripod. Not good.

Wow, even the new box design looks great.

I can hardly wait for my MC to arrive next week. (Wish they'd done it in silver, though. It'd be a perfect match for my silver 50/2 Heliar Classic.)

the new Voigtlander 35/1.4 may create real problem in Japan's photo industry.

There is only so much glass to make new lenses with ...

It looks like we are a happy crowd of customers for this lens... maybe one of the dealers will give us a special "rangefinderforum.com" discount?

How many are we?

I am counting: 1

(Your turn, now...)

the lens looks good
the images look good
even the bokeh looks good

the sc version has been paid for and now i just need to be patient...

the bokeh seems nice, but i miss the halo effect of the summilux preasph, i don't know yet if i will buy the nokton or the preasph summilux and sell my v4 summicron.
No reviews yet ?
