Am I to understand that ko.fe. is gone, too? For What? And Huss? And because of the practice of banning and the unfairness, now we are losing Helen? And Charles DAMorgan is resigning in protest along with Helen?

These were among my favorite people here.

I will miss you, Helen. Greatly. I hope there is some way to bring you back.

I am very sad. And hurt.

I will miss the presence of Helen, and also Huss and Ko.Fe. I've learned a lot from all three.

Frank is also an excellent photographer and I will miss his photographic insights as well.

I think the forum was strengthened by their photographic talents and insights. I hope this can all be mended amicably.

Still a great forum though.

I wasn't even following that thread. So that's what happened? Huss or ko.fe. said something and they were banned for it? Like they do in Russia?

That Pixi Dixi thing brought back memories for the late RFF member Pixu (RIP)

He was different, outspoken, had a bit of a nasty streak if provoked but all in all he was a unique photographer, and a unique one of a kind personality and not a bad person at all ....he left us too early.
 
Will someone please explain to me what’s been going on here? I’m another one who’s not been following whichever threads are causing problems, and now a number of significant figures on the site are either leaving or have been banned.
 
Always sad to see someone leave because they feel they have been treated wrongly. I think it goes without saying that you will be missed Helen. Like others, I have no idea what happened. Maybe it happened with exchanges in thread(s) I didn't look at, or maybe in messaging, I don't know.

For my part, I will continue to read and post where I feel I have something to contribute (others agreeing or not :D). I have been here since about the time RFF started, when FSU bodies and Leica and to a lessor extent, Contax lenses were popular. I personally have never had reason to think about leaving and still don't.

For those who do think they should leave, that is their decision, and I can only hope they decide to return. There is just too much knowledge here to be lost.
 
If RFF is supposed to be a community, seems to me, we members are owed an explanation on why other members have been banned - no?
I, like many others, will miss both the banned members.
Losing Helen sucks as well

For those of us who were fond of Huss and ko.fe. it would be nice if Stephen shared with us why he felt the need to ban them.

Lord, how I miss "Leave it to Beaver". Wally and the Beav could have sorted this out themselves before dinner.

I am a 'typical' woman... a Drama Queen...labeled
Why when a woman expresses herself she is then considered weak, emotional., dramatic, has her period, but a man can express himself and it's ok ...
I guess that's why few woman come here

As I said it's your call, your site, I am happy to depart...

Ko.fe sometimes with English being his second language not always is on the mark with stringing his words and thoughts together... You find him abrasive and rude hence banned for a month

Huss, a fun contributor like most here on Rff, perhaps questioned the Pixee in a way that You disapproved... but banning for a month is a tad over reactive or shall I use the word 'DRAMAtic'


I wont go into Bart Bart or Ned ... enough of my 'drama'
