New 50mm f1.1

If it were ltm I'd definitely be interested.
On the home page for the manufacturer, they have a short list of other lenses, I clicked on the link to a 25mm f1.8 and that opened the page for this 50.
Is the 50 the only lens they've got in production?

But the aperture diagram shows 7.

I'd say there's 12 blades in there. In which case, element (as in 7 elements in 6 groups in the optical formula) was translated as "blade", meaning the reliability of the rest of the translation is also questionable lol.

Is the mount copper, aluminum, brass, or something else?! I guess we'll find out soon enough 🙂

Looking closely at the aperture ring in the photographs, there's no f11 marking at all and despite the obvious issue with perspective in the photographs, it's clear that all of the aperture settings between f5.6 and f16 are very close together. Not a problem with TTL metering but not really a lens to use at small apertures with slide film and a fully manual camera! Of course, the intention will be to use the lens at wider apertures but this looks like a "feature" that highlights the low cost of the lens. I'd still like to try one though!

Their auction site ads have replaced the funny stack-of-saucers diagram with an artist's representation of a diaphragm -- with seven blades! It appears that this company makes glass for technical and scientific applications. It may take them a while for everyone to get on the same page in marketing consumer lenses. By the way, their 25mm lens for Fuji X goes for under $100 USD! That's mighty inexpensive, even with so-so quality.

you guys are a tough crowd.
I see nothing that wrong with sharpness on those small sample shots... One or two of the portrait closeups of the dude are obviously motion blurred; some background highlights are very busy/weird to deliver "nice bokeh" (like the 1st one with the blue striped screens blurred);
anyway
the cat shot has great sharpness and beautiful bokeh 😛

I believe by copper they wanted to say brass.
In Hungarian, e.g., we call brass "yellowcopper".
It's just crappy translation, same as with the seven blades etc.

Indeed, it's the same for mandarin: brass is "yellowcopper", bronze is "bluecopper", and pure copper is called "redcopper". When referring to all three (especially brass and copper) people tend to generalize them as "copper" - so generalized that some never recognize brass is just an alloy.

It's common among Chinese photo hobbyists to describe a lens having "a copper mount" or a camera having a "copper top plate", having an image of the yellow metallic finish in mind.

All in all it looks like a nice lens for a really good price.

We await with bated breath on a realistic pros and cons real world review on this hunk of Chinese glass.

It's styled nicely.
The silver one sort of reminds me of the Konica M Hexanon limited f1.2/50mm.
I'll try one once the first round of $250 second hand copies hit the classified boards.
Could be fun.

"Lovely plumage!"

Here's hoping we don't find out it's actually dead and has been nailed to the perch! 😛
