Dammit Wayne, now you've got me angry again about forgetting the Ektar in my last film order! Beautiful colour - muted but still vibrant.

The best camera is one that still works!
I've just realised I can actually contribute to this thread now that I'm finally up and running with my 500cm ... and loving it I might add!

Thank you?????????
Thank you?????????
Thanks. I guess.
Scanning color is kicking my butt! Just when I kinda sorta maybe have B&W figured out, I think I'll scan color and it'll be easy. No way. I need more practice.
Ektar 100 is lovely. The surprise: Porta 800. It was a lifesaver the day the heavens opened and it rained all day. Thank goodness for the speed. Grain? It's 6x6. What grain?
edit: ^^^ The 2 old windows are Portra 800 under a porch roof in the rain.

More Hasselblad shots to keep the thread going!
I shot these two on that roll of Ektar I was talking about in my last post... I really don't have much of a clue how to scan color film, but it still looks pretty good to me!
And this shot is from a recent trip to San Francisco with the Hasselblad and T-MAX 100 in HC-110B.

At last I can post some photos to this thread. I bought a hassy kit over 5 months ago and only got my hands on it a month ago, and just this week got to develop my first rolls and scan a few shots. Here are two:

I really enjoyed shooting slides with my hassy that i got about 1-2 months ago. Its a joy to use and the planar really renders lovely colours.
Here's some of my shots with Velvia 50
(floral closeups with a Raynox 250, still waiting for my ext tubes then)

I'd be interested.

Whatever
Lots of great stuff here. I just picked up a super-sweet 500 ELM at a great price, and looking forward to putting it to use.
Amazing how cheap some Hasselblads are now....
