What have you just BOUGHT?

A looks-to-be nice, clean Zoom-Nikkor 25-50mm f/4 AI-S is on the way.

The price was very good, and Nikon USA indicated that this lens should work nicely with the TC-16a AF Teleconverter. That nets me a 25-50 manual focus lens for the F and F6, and a 40-80 auto focus lens for the F6.

It will be fun to learn how to use this lens. I'm not generally a zoom lens user.

An Epson 7800 that dates from 2006 that has only made 1902 prints over its 9 year life. Came with 17 and 24 Matte rolls of paper. $100.00

Currently has an empty ink cart so no testing until I get the order I placed today. I'll be filling the 7800 with Piezoflush after I perform some maintenance to store the printer safely until I come up with the money to reload it with ink.

Not everyday do you get a fresh unused large format pro printer of no money.

The last 50/1.1 Sonnetar that Japan Camera Hunter had. It's been discontinued, which gave me the final push.

A 50/1.4 Nikkor LTM.

Not a Zunow 50/1.1 (but I know where I might try to borrow one).

And since I have a ZM Sonnar 50/1.5, can you guess what I am about to do a comparo test on?

Just ordered the Sigma Art 50 1.4.

with SLRs I pretty much always start shooting from 50mm, then go wider/closer as needed, so I'm pretty excited to see how the Sigma will be in use.

Received a Jupiter 3 50mm 1.5 in mail today in very nice shape from RFF member Jean Claude, picked up 10 rolls of neopan 400, and rec'd a few books over last week: Exiles Koudelka, Mary Ellen Mark by Charles Hagen and a great book(used out of print and they only printed one edition) New York School Photographs 1936-1963 besides some good images from many NY school people, it has great text on the goings on in NY at that time- very cool…..

A D3200 for my daughter's 16th birthday. I know, I know, it's not film and it's not a rangefinder, but she expressed an interest in photography, and I wanted to make it as 21st century kid friendly as possible. If she takes to it, I've got all kinds of film equipment she can use.
