Just thinking of the year that is ending and what advancements I might have made photographically. Plenty of GAS, we will all have had a little of that, some nice gear has come my way, but, I feel guilty. My yearly spend on film has been pitifully low, seems I was a gear head and not a photog. A lot of "test" films run on FSU gear and a little less on other gear (TLR etc) but not a great deal of good images. It has been a wonderful boost for my intentions from Ilford, who are to produce SFX again in the 2007, in 35mm and 120, yipee!
So, I must burn more film, maybe a PAW would help, perhaps get a gallery started. Any ideas to get the work flowing? What about your (photographic) New Year resolution?

Dave.

New years resolutions:

1. Develop my own b/w, may be print it.
2. Get my 6X6 slides printed an post more stuff to the web and/or ebter competitions for critique. among all the dross I think I have some good stuff, but I seem to spend more time taking pics than exhibiting them.
3. Sell my film slr, Canonet QL17, may be the 124G.

regards

Stephen

shoot more.
shoot more medium format.
try and save for a leica(not very likely to succeed).
start(wet)printing the stuff I sorted - about 50 pics of the last couple of years.
be nicer to people
lose 10 pounds

I need to actually start scanning some of my negs and get them online. I am horrible at shooting film and then letting it all pile up while I ignore it!

1. Stop sucking at photography (unlikely to ever happen, but no one should stop trying to improve IMO)
2. Start printing B&W, and possibly E6 (not neccesarily developing that though)

Not really resolutions, but I hope to get a film scanner, a Bessa R4A, a 50 'lux, a 21/4, and a 90. And some SLR and misc stuff.
