Sorry, Robert, I overlooked your class on Thursdays. I think you're right about meeting more than once & Friday does look best. It would appear that the 14th is the better of the 2 dates proposed. In the interests of trying to accomodate everyone's schedule, what about the 21st?

Sorry, just now getting back to my computer.
The 21st is definitely not good for me. If we want two dates, how about a Friday and a Thursday? Maybe the 7th and 13th, or 6th and 14th. I hope I didn't overlook anyone's schedule.
EDIT: OK, I just re-read what Rob and Huck are talking about and I get it now. How about the 7th and 21st?
If I count right there are 7 of us.

I can make the 21st. Tomorrow I'm going to the client that's scheduled me for the 14th so let me see if I can change that date. To be honest I'm not quite sure what that visit is all about but I'll find out tomorrow how important it is...

10/21 is so-so for me. We're traveling to NJ for a family function that weekend; not sure yet if we're leaving Friday or Saturday.

The 14th is better than the 7th because almost everyone can do it, except cbass hasn't said definitely, and even though peter_n is tentative, he's good for the 21st.
The only one who showed interest but hasn't chimed in at all is rover.
So, with two votes remaining to be counted for the 14th and one wild card for all three candidates, let's call this election early and say the 14th and 21st. It looks like all of us are able to make at least one of them. What say ye? All those in favor, say Aye, those opposed, put a dent in my forehead with your rangefiner of choice.

By the way, not to derail all of this, but I'm playing the National Anthem at the Sox game tonight (Tuesday) with a group. I'll be the tuba player honking away. Check it out if you can, we're on NESN starting at 7pm.
I'm bringing my Bessa-R with 25mm Skopar for the wide shots, and my F100 with 300mm f4 for the action shots. They give us ring-side seats for the game, so I should be in a similar position to the shooting gallery.
