I think picture no.2 should be left out.

The other three has fairly unison color setting, but the second is like a nail in the eye to me. It's a good shot, but I'd rather not see it together with the others, or maybe if you place it as number one/four, it won't stand out as much.

I agree, actually. It's funny that that's the only one of the photos taken with a different camera, and it's obvious. Thanks for the input! I think it is best just left out of the group..

Great shots! I like the use of DOF and movement in the first.

The only criticism I can give is what my teacher said in class. Photos of peoples backs or people looking out of the frame often cause ones eye to travel to the edge of the frame or out of it completely and move on. That was his opinion, and its something I think about often now. But I feel if composed correctly, a series of images of the same person with no face can still be interesting.

But I could be way off, just thoughts after all.

Still #1 is the keeper. The hat, lack of face, and the hopscotch court coupled with the shallow depth of field bring that photo beyond the cute kid photo territory. The rest of them I'm sure the parents would love though.

#2, I think could have been saved with a little exposure compensation. There could have been a little more detail in the contour of his body on the left side. As they are, I agree that #1 is the keeper. Nice color.
