California (Bay Area, Northern) Eadweard Muybridge in a Time of Change- Shall We?

I'm in. I always enjoy chug-a-lugging Guinness with Ken and Micah. I've had The Professors' Tofu Ice Cream, btw, but only in cask strength 😱
 
I should be there. Might be doing a whirlwind trip to Redding the day before, so I might be kinda droopy from all the driving...

Kent - you don't have to lug the ZM 25 along, though. I succumbed to a good deal on a Elmarit 24mm and probably don't want to see direct evidence of having overpaid for the Red Dot when I could have gotten the Blue Flag and been just as happy. :bang:

Very cool Kevin, that Elmarit should be a very nice lens! bring it along if you think of it, I'd love to see it! You can't go wrong with Leica glass, I'm sure it will perform beautifully.

Kent: I'll tote it along for sure! It's heavier than I expected -- I've ordered one of the funny Ikodots for it as a finder. (I'm a sucker for quirky little gizmos sometimes.) Hopefully that will have arrived by then so I can bring it along too. Not sure how that will work, but I suspect it won't be any more iffy than a regular viewfinder: I've borrowed Mike's Zeiss 25/28 finder and I still feel like I'm totally guessing what will end up on film!

Jamie: you're not gonna bring the Speed Graphic? 😉

He's right Jamie. You know someone doesn't even know you exist when he keeps calling you by your old name [name before Ken changed it (NBKCI)= Mike] and not ones new name (Micah).

He'll probably start calling you Jacques or something if you hang around me too long. Heck, K-raf just calls me 'hey you' lately. But he may actually remember my name, and is just practicing for NY.
