Garry Winogrand 'Public relations' - what camera and lens?

Santa gave me Garry Winogrand's book 'Public relations' And Robert Frank's 'The Americans'. Started in Winogrands book and like it.

Do you guys know what camera and what wide angle lens Winogrand used?

I believe it was mainly a Leica M4 with a Canon 28f2.8.

Some how I thought after looking at the prints in this book that his lens was a bit wider than 28mm. But there seems to be conscensus about the 28mm.

I just read on the reidreview site that for this book some of the pictures where made with a 21 mm lens. Seems that 28mm was going to be his preferred lens but he was still experimenting at time of this book 'Public relations.

Street photography had gone from 50mm to 35mm to 28mm (Winogrand). No "standard" per se. All goes now.
