lens line up change...

Understood S-A. You are correct, I had no clue of that particular context of the word.

Hmm, probably most folks in the US, younger than a certain age, don't know what the news media mean when referring the office of the President as the "bully pulpit"! :)

Joe, I see an advantage in carrying the X100 along with the X-E1 with every lens except a 23mm. Since 23mm (35mm eq.) is your favorite focal length, you would never need to stop and change lenses as long as you have the X100 along. You could shoot with the X100 as the main camera, and the X-E1 for everything else. That's what I've been doing lately. I don't have an X-E1 or an X-Pro, but I can carry my X100 around my neck, and an X10 or D-Lux 6 in my pocket, as I did recently on a hike, and be ready for anything.

have way too many fuji lenses .....

have way too many fuji lenses .....

Right now I have the

18/35/60
18-55, 55-200

and an OMD
Kit Zoom, 25 1.4,45 1.8, 75 1.8 on the way. 9-18 Oly, 14-140 Panny, 100-300

Current thought is:
Dump the Fuji zooms, add the 2.8 Pany Zooms

Undecided about the 35mm option, got it covered in several zooms, get the Fuji 23/X100/or Oly .... Oh the choices, and at the same time, I seem to be a 28 or wider guy when I shoot the zooms, almost never a 35!

I'm down from 5 systems to 2, Phase/Mamiya, Nikon Gone, and only one film camera left as it has been in the Wife's family longer than me! That is real progress!

I drive a 13 year old Volvo to fund my camera gear obsession, funny how much gear I can afford with no car payment :bang:
