My current Canon Rangefinder set (March 2016)
My current Canon Rangefinder set (March 2016)
It has been a while since my last update - there have been some changes in my collection. Some things were sold (19 FL non-retrofocus, 28 F3.5 silver) and some things were added (like the 19 RF).
From left to right and top to bottom: P with 28 2.8, Camera Holder L, turret zoomfinder with 21-28 attachment and Flash Unit Coupler / Canon 7 with 100 f3.5, Accesory Coupler and Universal Finder / Canon VI-T in Camera Holder Vt with 50 f1.8, Auto-up V-II, zoomfinder s and Parallax Compensator III / Canon 7sZ with 19 RF and 19 finder / Canon 7sZ with 50 f0.95 / Canon VI-L with 50 f1.2 and meter.
Lenses: 135 f3.5 / 100 f2 / 85 f1.8 / 50 f1.4 / 50 f1.5 / 35 f1.5 / 35 f2 / 25 f3.5
Finders (all black): 25 / 28 / 35 / 50 / 85 / 100 / 135 / zoomfinder l / finder coupler
I also own all the original hoods (including the very hard to find hood voor the 50 f0.95) and a whole range of cases, caps, filters, auto-ups, flashes and other accessories. Everything works like it should and is ready for use. I suspect this set will keep me shooting for a while 😎

For the 7 users: how does the meter work in practice? Do you point the camera in the direction you want, take a reading, and then dial-in the shutter speed and aperture settings?
I thing the finder has no indication - is that correct?

You set the shutter speed, and point the camera toward what you want to photograph. You then look at the meter readout on the top plate of the camera. It will show you the recommended aperture for that shutter speed.
And correct, no meter indication in the viewfinder.

Canon 7 and Canon 25mm f3.5 and the clumsiest "shoe" ever. Camera is a repaint and if I ever had any intention of using it - I would paint the shoe black too. Prpbably take it to the swap meet next sunday and off load it. Will keep the 25mm though but put a Canon 50f1.4 on to instead.

Another Canon 7 - I had several Canon Rf''s but decided to divest myself of them a while ago. They do have one of the smartest finder systems with it's dial in frames, but they are a bit confusing when you uses M2's.
This was one set ups for wide-angle work, The original Voigtlander Heliar 12 mm and the huge finder.
