Thanks guys. Not all are in good shape. Somehow, these lenses are usually below the near mint condition as they are described on the auction site. You can barely look through some of them although sellers claim that a simple cleaning will do. My technician wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole after looking at it. Sigh... so the search continues.

Originally was looking for a LTM Leica, but then found a good deal on this fully working 7.
I'm totally impressed by the shutter!

Still undecided, how to replace the J-8.
Should I go for the 50mm 1.8, or save some money and then buy the 1.4?

Time will tell.
