What films to pack

Your choice is right. Color is important in India, and you don't really need ISO 400 or higher, unless you shoot on low light.

Another recommendation: trust your lightmeter. You'll get a lot more light than you might be used to.

I lobve tri-x exposed from 200 iso to 3200....

Because the Leica M4p is the weapon of choice for me.😀 I'll rely heavily on my Kenko lightmeter.

Tri-X was my favorite 20 years ago, and still is....🙂

I'd take that D300 off of the GF.....and shoot color, B&W, and whatever ISO was needed!, it would make for a much more relaxed trip!.....buy her a P&S! 😛
