For a more serious answer, I would finish the list of old Steam engines and railroad sites I've been meaning to get to. And I'd also like to travel what's left of Roure 66.

The Northern Silk Road through China, which travels through the Chinese province of Gansu, then follows the mountain ranges to the north of the Taklamakan Desert into Kashgar in the most north-west province of Xinjiang. Then turn south to the Karakoram Highway down into Pakistan.

Should be able to waste a year there... 😀

I would buy one of the new Indian Chief motorcycles built here in N.C. & cruise around to biker events & places across the USA. Meeting people & visiting places off the main strip photo-documenting lives & later publishing a book.

You'd need to insulate it well from vibration! Frances and I once did 5000km around South India on a Bullet with Leicas + Nikons; the only casualty was an internal group in the 200/3 Vivitar that uncrewed itself (repaired once we were back in the UK). Dunno what the Chief's like for vibration but I doubt it's much better than a Harley and a Harley (even with the rubber-mounted Evo) is worse than a Bullet.

Roger I would hav a custom made saddle bag for my gear. These Indians are quieter than a Harley & less vibration. These motorcycles are hand built. I hope they do well. Here is a video on Jay Leno's Garage.
